We support families affected by ICE by purchasing and delivering groceries directly through Instacart, based on each family’s stated needs.

How it works:

Families share their immediate needs such as groceries, diapers, formula, and other household essentials and our team places direct Instacart grocery orders to meet those needs.

So far, the average cost for groceries has been $80–$100 per family, based on recent Instacart orders. Costs vary depending on household size and dietary needs.

When purchasing your Instacart gift card:

• Select Instacart Gift Card Value 
  • Recommended: $80–$100 (1 family)
• Choose Email as the delivery method.
  • Don’t click on the Instacart+ membership plans (double-check if it’s selected)
• Enter CSD-DFW in the “recipient name” field
• Enter communityselfdefensedfw@gmail.com in the “recipient email” field
• Enter a personal message you’d like us to include.
• In the “From” field, you can put your name or anonymous.
